Ep. 150 – Reclaim your time with these 3 easy steps

This week we are talking about time. Most of us don’t feel that we have enough of it. We are running from one thing to the next, putting out the fires that are started by the notification dings on our phones or other devices.

What do the constant notifications do to our quality of patient care? When we keep trying to keep up with the demands of everyone else. We are in this fight or flight mode all the time and  our minds lose focus on what is important.

Today, I want to talk to you about three easy ways to reclaim your time. These aren’t things that will add endless tasks to your to-do list but instead will make you more efficient with the time you do have. You will be able to see what things are important, what can wait, and how you can keep your clients returning time and time again. Because we all know, it’s easier to keep a current patient happy and returning than it is to find a new patient.

We look at things that you might be doing daily that keep you in a state of high alert. High stress. Distracted.

What if you waited to respond till a certain time? Was that really an emergency your co-worker called you about on your day off, or is there just a lack of boundaries.

With these three easy steps you can reclaim your time, improve your connection with your patients and make time for you. Because let’s face it, in a time crunch you are normally the person that gets left off your to-do list.

I would love to know your favorite takeaway from this week’s episode.
