Today’s episode is so full of quotables – I was writing down words of wisdom from Ann during my entire editing process.  I interviewed Ann H. Newstead, PT, DPT, PhD, GCS, NCS, CEEAA (whew!) for today’s episode on #oncoPT abroad, her work with IPT-HOPE, & a brief foray into how HIV/AIDS fits into oncology physical therapy.


Ann’s bio: After more than 35 years as a physical therapist, Dr. Ann Newstead, PT, DPT, PhD, committed to designing a physical therapy environment that would provide quality, expert physical therapy within her local community. Dr. Newstead is a Certified Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in Neurologic (1995-present) and Geriatrics (2005-present) and Vestibular Certification (2009). She believes that staying current in her areas of specialization is important to serve your needs and get you back to a healthy, quality lifestyle.
